Who Is Eligible
LSNV may be able to help you with your civil legal issues or questions if:
1. Your issue falls within the categories of cases we handle
2. You are eligible for our services
Eligibility for our services is defined by our Federal, State, local, and private funders. In order for us to determine whether we can help you, you must be screened for eligibility. During this brief screening, a member of our Intake team will ask about:
• Names/birth dates of people involved in your case (to check for conflicts of interest)
• Your income and available financial resources
• Demographic information, including household size
• Your immigration status
What to Expect
• LSNV cannot assist every person who applies to us for services. We have restrictions based on our funding and ethical restrictions such as rules prohibiting conflicts of interest. You will need to do an intake to see if you qualify for our services.
• If you would like to communicate in a language other than English, LSNV provides free interpreters for applicants and clients, including sign language interpreters.
